Families
Villa Manos, situated in the village of Aptera, is perfect for families or two groups. This charming building, set in its own well kept grounds on the outskirts of the village, is actually two separate small houses which are joined and share a large pool. This setup is ideal for two small families or one big family. The pool is 8 meters long with a separate shallow area for small children, and the garden is tastefully designed and filled with flowers. The nearest shops and tavernas are just a 20 minute walk away and the beaches at Kalami are a 10 minute drive. This villa has stunning views of the Souda bay and is within easy reach of main towns such as Kalives, Chania and Rethymno; which are teaming with attractions.
We have a selection of charming Cretan houses for couples, and all are well equipped and situated in beautiful locations. Fillipos house is set in the heart of Douliana, which is a gorgeous traditional village with a small selection of shops and a cafeneon. Fillipos house is special because of its heritage, and it will be appreciated by those who enjoy history and culture. Built in 1863 by Fillipo himself, the house has always been in the family and is now maintained by his great grandson. What makes this cottage so charming is its flower filled private courtyard and upstairs sun terrace, as these boast beautiful views of the White Mountains in one direction and the Souda bay in the other.
Groups
For those who wish to holiday in a group, be it a hen party, mates’ holiday, big birthday or even a club trip, we have the perfect accommodation at Zoi’s house in the traditional village of Tzitzifes. The accommodation has been renovated with large families or groups in mind and is made up of a large four bedroom house, and the top floor has two self contained studios which each accommodate two people. The house is built on a hill, so has spectacular views, and the terraced gardens and pool are both peaceful and private. Tzitzifes is situated at the foot of the White Mountains so there are opportunities for walking, but it is also equidistant from Chania and Rethymno so you can easily drive to visit the historical sites and do a spot of shopping.
Crete is a land of fine food, stunning beaches and very friendly locals. Activities range from Scuba diving trips to trekking the largest gorge in Europe, or simply relaxing by a pool. Whatever you’re looking for and whoever you’re going with, Pure Crete have accommodation to match all needs.
