A short distance from the small hamlet of Agios Pantes and the village of Neo Horio, Amalthia is a beautiful Cretan stone house. Set amongst olive groves with wonderful countryside views, this traditionally built house is both comfortable and fully equipped and has its own large private swimming pool. A short 5 minute drive from a choice of tavernas and just 15 minutes from a choice of sandy beaches means that it is both a peaceful retreat and a good vantage point for couples or families. 

There are lovely gardens and a patio area with a barbeque at the front of the house. At the rear of the house are further gardens and a few small steps up to the large private swimming pool.

The house has a large open plan living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower. There are two bedrooms – one double bedroom with it’s own balcony and one twin bedroom with a third single bed on a platform above (there are steep steps to the third bed which is not suitable for very small children). There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.

Clients are reminded that they should take all proper precautions in the pool area at all times.

Agios Pantes is a small sleepy village spread out along the road parallel to the national highway and is a junction point for visiting towns and villages in the area and has lovely views towards the White Mountains.  Set between Vrisses and Kalives, there is one taverna and one pizza/souvlaki shop, popular with the locals and also a  delicious bakery.

Tavernas are nearby in Agios Pandes (5 minutes drive/15 mins walk) and Vrisses (10 minutes drive) and sandy beaches just a 15 minute drive away at either Kalives or Georgioupoli.

(basic Sat TV  - usually only English channels are BBC World News. Greek Terrestial TV play a lot of English/American films and sit coms in English with Greek Subtitles in evenings and at weekends)
