This impressive property is set just above the village church in Aptera and commands extensive views across the surrounding countryside to the white mountains beyond. The original building has been renovated and extended in traditional Cretan style and is tastefully furnished.

Ana Mali House has been restored in co-operation with Pure Crete to provide two separate dwellings of unique charm which may be rented together or individually.

Anna-Malai consists of two completely self-contained units - The Family House and The Penthouse - each with a private terrace. It boasts Cretan archways, and fireplaces, beamed ceilings and stone floors. The thick stone walls ensure it is cool throughout the long summer months. It has a large swimming pool and an attractive garden with palm trees. The properties are cared for by the owners who occasionally use of the pool.

Beautifully crafted in white stone, it overlooks the snow-capped White Mountains and endless olive groves, and is elegantly and simply furnished. Dark wooden shutters, beams and floorboards contrast perfectly with the white-washed walls, and Cretan hand-woven rugs and cushions throw dashes of red and orange around the rooms.'
