Armeni is a sleepy Cretan village set in a green valley of orange groves, about 1 1/4 miles inland from the coast at Kalives (pictured below). In the village are a church,  tavernas, a choice of Cafenions a mini market and a butchers with cheese deli. There is also a new bakery. Some ten minutes walk (1/4 mile) from the village centre, on the level road to Kalives are two small Cretan cottages, each overlooking the lush green river valley. Both houses retain their privacy within the large garden of fruit trees and vines - other than the occasional cat.

Christiana's was once a flour mill and is now a romantically secluded villa in Crete with a double bedroom, a small living room with kitchen/dining area and bathroom with shower. There is a large terrace canopied with vines and a private roof terrace for sunbathing.

The house has two bicycles for the use of visitors - an ideal way to explore the surrounding countryside or visit local beaches. Kalives is about one mile away and has tavernas and shops as well as long stretches of sandy beach. Christiana offers immediate access to the Armeni to Kalives road, leading to the excellent choice of tavernas at Armeni and Kalives.
