Armeni is a sleepy Cretan village set in a green valley of orange groves, about 1 1/4 miles inland from the coast at Kalives (pictured). In the shady village square are a church, taverna and one or two traditional food shops. Some ten minutes walk (1/2 km) from the village centre, along the level road to Kalives are two small Cretan cottages. Romantically set within the seclusion of the countryside, each overlooks the lush green river valley. Both houses retain their privacy with in the large garden of fruit trees and vines.

Christiana's was once a flour mill and now is romantically secluded villa in Crete with a double bedroom, a small living room with kitchen/dining area and bathroom with shower. There is a large terrace canopied with vines and a private roof terrace for sunbathing.

The house has two bicycles for the use of visitors - an ideal way to explore the surrounding countryside or visit local beaches. Kalives (below) is about one mile away and has tavernas and shops as well as long stretches of sandy beach.
