Positioned down the hill, from its sister house, Fisherman's, Mariner's is an individual traditional style house within a stones throw from the waters edge. It enjoys  spectacular views over Souda Bay particularly from its large sea-facing terrace.

The pebble beach in front of the house is ideal for a morning swim after breakfast and this beautiful stretch of water is popular with locals during the summer months. In off peak season, April and May plus October, this small beach is often deserted.

-Upstairs: In the gallery is a double bed reached by an open, steep wooden staircase (not suitable for elderly, infirm or very small children).

There is large sea-facing terrace with wonderful views towards Souda bay through the foliage.

Taverna and cafe 1 mile walk (uphill) at the hamlet of Kalami. The larger coastal village of Kalives, with its tavernas, beautiful sandy beach, shops, supermarket, bank and post office, is just 5 minutes drive away.
