For those who want a traditional property set amongst other traditional Cretan dwellings and within easy reach of a sandy beach Nikos, set in a countryside hamlet a mile and a half from Stilos village, is a natural choice. 

Walking up the path towards this old stone built house with its beamed ceilings, you'll probably encounter donkeys and goats. As you reach the courtyard outside you'll find a tranquil setting in which to sit and sip a glass of wine, leading to the two distinctive blue front doors of the house. The rural charm of the garden provides a natural picnic setting. 

Just three miles from the sandy beaches at Kalives the road winds upwards to Stilos, a village famous for its natural springs with an attractive choice of food and music served in its five local tavernas. 

The farmhouse has a double bedroom, a traditional fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room with a single sofabed and a bathroom with shower and WC

A choice of tavernas and the local store is one and half miles away (car reccommended) and just three miles to Kalives beach (below).
