For those who want a romantic rural hideaway within easy reach of a sandy beach, Nikos is a natural choice. Set in the countryside within easy walking distance (half mile) of the village centre is this old stone beamed-ceiling farmhouse. Walking up the path towards the house, you'll encounter donkeys and goats.

As you reach the courtyard outside you'll find a tranquil setting in which to sit and sip a glass of wine, leading to the two distinctive blue front doors of the house. The rural charm of the garden provides a natural picnic setting.

The farmhouse has a double bedroom, a traditional fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room with a single sofabed and a bathroom with shower and WC

It's half a mile to a choice of tavernas and the local store and just three miles to Kalives beach (below).
