Stephanos

A category -Sleeps 2 Armeni is a sleepy Cretan village set in a green valley of orange groves, about 11/4 miles inland from the coast at Kalives (pictured). In the shady village square are a church, taverna and one or two traditional food shops. Some ten minutes walk (1/2 km) from the village centre, along the level road towards Kalives are two small Cretan cottages. Romantically set within the seclusion of the countryside, each overlooks the lush green river valley. Both of these villas in Crete retain their privacy within the large garden of fruit trees and vines. Stephanos' has a small living room with kitchen corner, a separate double bedroom and abathroom with shower. The terrace with tables and chairs is available for eating 'al fresco' and the roof terrace is ideal for sunbathing. An outside shower is available for cooling down. The house has two bicycles for the use of visitors - an ideal way to explore the surrounding countryside or visit local beaches.
