Susanna and Thea
On the eastern side of hilltop Megala Chorafia, near ancient Aptera, lie two stone houses of great character and charm. They share spectacular views, along the coast over the bay and beyond. They are built and maintained by owner Manolis, a curator of the Chania archaeological museum.
The houses are well furnished with Cretan archways, beamed ceilings, stone floors and Cretan fireplaces. They are in a quiet location with stone terracing. A large swimming pool is shared by the two houses. The pool has an area for small children and steps for easy access. Each house has its own patio and terraces to sunbathe and enjoy the views from sea or mountain views, and are only 1/2 mile from the village taverna's.
