  • Had a really great time in Crete - Fisherman's House was fab and we would both definitely return. Pure Crete was great to deal with and it would be a pleasure to book any future holidays to Crete with them.
  • Mr and Mrs Mulligan
  • The quiet seclusion of Kalami was like having our own private beach, the food and the welcome at the Vigla Taverna...was lovely, and with Kalives just a five-minute drive away for anything else we needed, I'm afraid we didn't stir ouselves to get out and about as much as we'd planned at the outset...
  • Mr J Burnage
  • For a relaxing holiday in a quiet location with a lovely terrace from which to watch the world go by - this takes some beating!
  • Mr P
  • The cottage was perfect, great location peaceful and relaxing, the owners were great hosts very friendly - would recommend and we want to visit again, soon!!
  • Mr J Ramsey
  • A completely relaxing two weeks: a beautiful location and hassle free. We were delighted that the local owners recognised us from previous years and were so hospitable.
  • The Times - "All Quiet on the Western Front"
  • Over in the West, in the rolling, rural foothills between the ancient port of Chania and the glorious White Mountains, is a Crete that seems frozen in time, along with its unpretentious tavernas, its farming villages, its gorgeous orange groves, its twisting mountain roads, and its secret gorges. To be a tourist here almost seems a crime; you feel that you might somehow dislodge the delicate workings of a society that gives off an aura of absolute tranquillity. (By Richard Morrison)

This seaside Cretan cottage offers romantic seclusion and superb sea views. The house has a spacious veranda from which to admire Souda Bay, an enchanting garden of fruit trees- orange, apricot, plum and nectarine – and a sitting-out area shaded by vines. The pebble beach in front of the house is ideal for a morning swim. It’s a short stroll to a sandy beach with a jetty.
