Your Essential Holiday Checklist

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of packing for a holiday abroad. The trouble is this excitement can make some of us a little forgetful, as we start imagining ourselves getting tanned on a white sandy beach in Crete rather than remembering to pack sunglasses!
Here are a few things that you don’t want to forget to pack for your next holiday in Crete.
Passport
This is an obvious one, but believe me, it happens. You don’t want to get to the check in desk only to realise that your passport is safe and sound on the dining room table, patiently waiting to be picked up.
Sun Screen
Sun screen is an absolute essential if you’re travelling to a warm country. You want to come back from your holiday beautifully bronzed, not burnt to a crisp.
Sunglasses
Not only is it important to protect your skin during your holiday, you should protect your eyes too. Not wearing sunglasses in the sun can also contribute to wrinkles due to squinting, so sunglasses are an essential!
Foreign Currency
Don’t forget to pick up your foreign currency before you get to the airport in order to get a better exchange rate.
Camera
Taking your camera with you means that you can capture all your happy holiday memories and look back at them longingly while boring your family and friends with another snap of you on the beach, and that’s nearly as fun as the holiday itself.
Travel Adapters
Remember that we don’t share the same style plug sockets with the rest of Europe, so if you want to be able to charge your phone, dry your hair or shave that beard which has just become a bit too much under the Cretan sun, don’t forget your adapters!
